17/02/09 - The Citizens Advice service is using a £10m funding boost from the Government to extend its opening hours and ensure even more people can benefit from receiving free, independent and impartial advice. Rochford and Rayleigh Bureau is one of over 340 CABs benefiting from the funding and is extending its opening hours at its Rayleigh office in the Civic Suite, Hockley Road, Rayleigh by opening half an hour earlier on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and at its Rochford office on Tuesday mornings. They are also increasing the number of volunteer advisers answering the phones. The bureau predicts this means they will be able to see over 900 extra clients from 2nd March 2009 to the end March 2010.
