From the 29th September 2008 we are changing the way we work.
On arrival you will be booked in by a receptionist and move onto a Gateway interview which will last no longer than 10 minutes. The assessor will determine the best way we can help you. This could be:

• Information to help you resolve your enquiry
• Signposting to another agency or organisation
• Referral to an internal department
• Appointment to see an adviser at a later time or date (including Monday evenings at our Rayleigh office for residents of Rochford District at our discretion and when resources are available)
• Telephone call back
• Waiting to see an adviser for a full interview

This service allows us to provide you with an efficient service and one that resolves your issues as soon as possible within the limited resources we have available.
